Schwerin & Wismar
Schwerin's castle sits on an island in the middle of a lake and looks like it came out of a storybook. Wismar, not far away on the Baltic coast, is a Hanseatic town with brick gabled houses, a big market square and a harbour. Two very different, very charming towns in one trip.
