Brocken & Harz narrow-gauge railway

At 1,141 metres, the Brocken is the highest mountain in northern Germany, famous for its mists, legends and wide views. The historic Brockenbahn steam train puffs up through the Harz forests, which makes the whole day feel nostalgic. Up top the weather is wild and changeable, part of its charm.
